The book (I just ordered it) should be quite interesting for it argues against cliche and stereotypes invented by Rigo and cherished by many ever since.

Eman, could you give some samples? I`m thinking about ordering this book also but so far my knowledge about French in Middle East apart from well know facts about Napoleon`s road there is very limited. Maybe these are the ones that you mentioned in your post

Well, Yves' interview gave some highlights; in his several e-mails to me he had also stressed out his "revisionist" position toward Rigo. My order should arrive shortly and upon receipt I'll be able to dwell on this or that aspects more diligently.
